Declaration of Faith

1. The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, inspired, infallible, and inerrant in its original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, conduct, and spiritual truth (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

2. God

We believe in one true, eternal, sovereign God, Creator of heaven and earth, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

3. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived without sin, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose again on the third day, ascended to heaven, and will return in glory (John 1:1-14; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer, sanctifies him, and empowers him with gifts for Christian service (John 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23).

5. Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is not obtained by works, but by repentance and personal faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10).

6. The Church

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all born-again believers. Its mission is to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and live in love and holiness (Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 1:22-23).

7. The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and gloriously to judge the living and the dead, establish his eternal Kingdom, and lead his people to eternal life (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12).

8. Christian Life and Service

We believe that the believer is called to live a holy life, separate from sin and committed to serving God and neighbor, manifesting the fruit of the Spirit and actively participating in the work of the Kingdom (Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 5:14-16).
